I am an ambassador for NG Nutra, WodnDone, Athletic Brewing, Mudgear and Gameday CBD. I am co-captain for IronEdge OCR Team and primarily take care of the social media for our Instagram page. I love it. I love to shine the spotlight on our team members and all their accomplishments. They are absolutely amazing humans and athletes. Finding OCR pretty much saved my life 7 years ago. I love to race, push myself, and the challenge mental and physical. I try to be a better version of my yesterday's self. I didn't start competitive racing until about halfway through 2019. While I now try to chase the podium as a competitive racer, I fully enjoy going out with new and seasoned racers for the pure love of the sport. There is nothing better than to see a new to the sport racer, tackle an obstacle/race that they thought they couldn't do. I still remember what that felt like! Everyone should get to feel that thrill of accomplishment! Every chance I get, I try to introduce people to the sport that I love. OCR gives so much back! The OCR community is the most uplifting, supportive, tight knit community I have found. Never have I been happier to be part of such a life changing wonderful community.

Antonio represents @nuunhydration @inspyrgear and @zirenutrition . Not only does he run obstacle races, but he has also run multiple half marathon and the 2019 @nycmarathon . Even though he trains for long distance runs, he finds time to run OCRs and is partial to local events. He has been a supporter of OCR Buddy for years, promoting the app to his fellow athletes. He intends to help OCR Buddy support those that need their race “fix”. We welcome him to the OCR Buddies.

Asa is the operator of @vikingobstaclerace and is also know around the OCR Community because he is always volunteering and participating in events whenever he can. He is always trying to find ways to help the community, including bringing multiple events together for the benefit of the community. He has been a supporter of OCR Buddy from the beginning and we are thankful that Asa applied to be an OCR Buddy and we welcome him to the Ambassadors.

Ashley, a social butterfly with a permanent smile who got married recently. How did she pick a date? She checked OCR Buddy first! Well, maybe second. She has been a supporter from Day 1 and a valuable friend. She is on a personal journey which will only enhance The Buddies as a whole.

I’m Bea, a proud ambassador for OCR Buddy, tough mudder ambassador and Active Humber ambassador in the UK as well as being a regional representative for British obstacle sports. I’m paraplegic, a full time wheelchair user and neurodiverse. I thrive on volunteering at OCR events and taking part with my epic team. We achieved the holy grail last year including 25 miles at WTM. Can’t wait to be representing OCR buddy in the upcoming UK OCR season and growing the community.

Bernhard is an alternative medical practitioner and health coach based in Germany. He found OCR in 2021, when running only became too boring… He did two runs in 2021 and was hooked. In 2021 he did 5 20k Rat`s Runners runs and completed two Spartan trifectas in his age group and got licensed as an OCR trainer. OCR Buddy helped him to navigate around the world of OCR and so he's proud to be able to support the community by becoming an OCR Buddy Ambassador.

Brett, the “Spartan T Rex”, believes anything is possible if you have the right people there to support you. What better attitude as a Buddy to help others achieve anything they put their minds to. Brett supports @athleticbrewing @frogfuelactual @battlemilesllc . He knows that the first time racers needs support as they are the future members of the OCR Community. Welcome aboard, Brett.

Brian is an ambassador for @redcon1 and has the desire to help others get stronger. With a unique perspective on racing as he typically runs solo, he can remind the community that being solo on a course doesn’t mean you are alone. Mentoring and helping is part of who he is and we welcome that to The Buddies.

My passion is fitness. I’m really into pushing myself physically and seeing what I can do. I did my first OCR race just to see if I could do it, and I got hooked. One of the best feelings is when you spend months trying to conquer an obstacle and then finally do it. I’m always trying to get people to try OCRs, and since I talk about them constantly, being an ambassador for OCR Buddy is a perfect fit. I’ve been an ambassador for Phoenix Race OCR this year. Random race fact about me: I always run my races in either a superhero shirt or some bright or colorful shirt, and back in March, I ran a Spartan in a tiara, veil, and sash (it was my bachelorette party weekend).

Carter Tuxhorn, 14, is a member of USA OCR National Team for the past 2 years and competes in a wide range of OCR events. He began in the sport by training and competing at Nex Level Ninja in New Jersey and competing in Ninja Warrior. In addition to OCR, Carter competes in Deka events and runs Cross Country and Track & Field for his school. Carter is proud to be an ambassador for OCR Buddy, helping to grow and promote the sport he loves most!

Charles has been doing obstacle races since 2012. He has enjoyed the challenge of pushing his body to the limits and seeing what he is capable of. OCR opened his eyes to running Ultras and embracing more of a community feel and promoting not just being competitive but having fun while doing it.

My name is Christian, originally from Italy but based in Australia, Sydney. I discovered OCR world in the land of the kangaroos and after my first race I became addicted. I see it as a lifestyle. It isn't just all the other sports. It's life; a big family. You travel to new places, countries and it doesn't matter who you are or where you're coming from, this community is always supporting you. That's why OCR buddy, helping each other to be better every day! I'd love to share with all of you the events based in Australia, NZ and Fiji as a Spartan Race/Tough Mudder Ambassador.

Hello my name is Dave I got into obstacle course racing in 2017 through that time I've met some very amazing people in the obstacle course racing community. During that time I have Competed and completed some very gruesome races in which I never would have dreamed that I complete. I love the ocr community and everything that ocr buddy provides for us and hope so do whatever I can to help spread the word to other athletes In their journey.

Dennis is a huge supporter of the entire OCR Community. If it is OCR (or Trail) related and is something positive, Dennis will support it. He represents @lazarusnaturalscbd @vitalsox @carborocket and @freetrain . More importantly, to us, we welcome him to The Buddies for his constant desire to help others and his continued support and promotion of OCR Buddy.

Emily, an @fnx_fit Ambassador, started into fitness after her kids moved out. She tries to convince other women that it is better to start late than not at all. She wants to show that not only women can compete in OCR, but Master Division women can succeed as well. Age is just a number for Emily, because her heart is young and her drive is strong as she not only competes…she podiums. What a great message she delivers and we thank her for wanting to be an OCR Buddy.

Emma, part of @phoenixraceocr, applied to be an OCR Buddy Ambassador because she wants to strengthen her relationships and skills in the OCR Community while wanting to contribute in any way possible. OCR challenges her to improve and that is why she loves it. OCR Buddy does not have Ambassadors for podiums and prominence, we have it to better improve the OCR Community and the people around it. Emma is exactly the person we hoped would apply and we are happy to have her as an Ambassador.

Emmanuel is the next generation of OCR. Pound4Pound Ninja is one of our youngest OCR Buddies, and he's already inspiring others as a world finalist in the World Ninja League (WNL) and Federation of International Ninja Athletes (FINA) as well as an All-Star in the Northeast Ninja Association (NENA). He is also a Spartan as well as a junior coach at The Grit Ninja volunteering to help younger ninjas and special needs ninjas. With Buddies like Emmanuel, the future of OCR is bright!

Greg is a self-declared “older athlete” who is not only into OCR but soccer as well. When not training or racing, you will find him on a soccer field referring the games and being a positive influence. Greg works to stay positive and to be an influence on others. He will push himself and show others that it can be done if you believe in yourself and your own abilities. We don’t believe that Greg knows the word “no” and that attitude makes him a perfect fit for the OCR Buddy Ambassadors.

Hello, my name is Hans. I am a visually impaired athlete from Sweden, and I compete in PARA/Adaptive classes.I am also a proud ambassador for OCR Buddy When Im not training or competing in OCR, I work as an advocate, representing people with disabilities. This work is very important to me, and it shapes who I am both in and outside of sport. My goal is to bring these values into the OCR community to promote inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of ability. OCR challenges me physically and mentally, and it also gives me a platform to show that disability is not a limitation, but a different way of navigating the world.

Heiki is the head of @ocrestonia and works to promote the sport of OCR within Estonia. His passion for OCR has translated to wanting to spread it through his country and Europe. Imagine promoting and helping brands within a country, that’s what Heiki does. So, when the application comes in to be an OCR Buddy how can we say no? If he can help build OCR in a country, imagine how he can help the rest of the OCR Community. Thanks for being a Buddy.

I became involved in fitness in my 30s as a way to feel healthier both inside and out. After a friend convinced me to try my first OCR (Fit Challenge), I fell in love with the sport and all it represents and have been racing ever since. Whether completing a road race, trail race or OCR, I love both the challenge of pushing myself to be the best I can be as well as the elements of teamwork and friendship out on the course. Although there are many obstacles that still challenge me, I'm so grateful that my body allows me to do what I can do...I love playing in the mud, climbing mountains and lifting heavy sh#t...and getting to spend time on mountains and in the woods giving and receiving words of encouragement and a "hand" up whenever necessary. ... Here are some other random tidbits: fur-mom to 2 cats, a rabbit and a guinea pig .... avid gardener ... elementary school special educator

I grew up knowing that running was always in my blood! I'm currently @spartanracemalaysia Ambassador and L1 SGX Coach. I'm a personal trainer at @sparkfit.malaysia too. I've completed multiple OCR events in Malaysia such as Viper Challenge, Mad Warrior, etc. and travel around for the love of OCR. Completed x20 Lifetime Spartan Trifecta just recently competed in Sparta, Greece. My only motivation to this, is the self-satisfaction of starting and completing the race with competing in making myself and time better in every race I sign up for. By far, this is working perfectly for me as I am currently only now doing age category OCR races.

Josh, a @mudgear and legend borne ambassador loves OCR and the OCR Community. He is a huge supporter of events in the Midwest USA, motivating others, going to events to support or being part of building local races. He trains. He smiles. He races. He smiles. He is with people. He smiles. Promotion of himself and of the OCR Community makes Josh a welcome addition to the OCR Buddy Ambassadors.

Kelly, a member of the @spartan Pro Team, the @altrarunning RED Team and is an ambassador of @surphyto AltRed and of @caterpy . Why is she a Buddy? She loves supporting the things that she believes in and she uses OCR Buddy to determine her busy schedule. Her knowledge and drive will be a benefit to The Buddies and the OCR Community.

Kevin, an ambassador for @salmingrunningnorthamerica and @tennessee_pre is also the founder of @morphin_time_fitness . Kevin is, in his own words, a fitness junkie who loves to inspire others and help people chase and achieve their goals and dreams. He inspires us already and we are proud to welcome him to The Buddies.

Kortney is an original Buddy. She is a @honeystinger Ambassador but she knew me before there was OCR Buddy and before she was a “Martin”. She has been a friend to OCR Buddy and helped form it from the very beginning. She will help promote OCR Buddy to other types of races and for that we say thank you.

Kristina is a @spartan Ambassador. She has used racing to help her through some difficult times and only wants to inspire others and to show others where to start to overcome their own problems. Crossing the finish line makes Kristina feel unstoppable. Her drive to show people that nothing can hold her down and that racing can be a positive force her life is a natural addition to the OCR Buddy Ambassador team. We look forward to her next inspiration.

Linda has been doing OCRs since 2015 and loves the challenge of racing. It has also allowed her to travel the country, even Bermuda, to race, visit and meet new friends. She is also a volunteer firefighter in two towns and loves to help her community even more by running a local food pantry.

Manuel has been hooked since his first race in 2017. His attitude about his achievements got our attention. When he doesn't succeed he learns from his mistakes and is excited to try again. He has a never say die attitude and that is exactly what we hope to promote to the OCR Community. He brings that attitude to being a proud ambassador for MudGear and HoneyStinger. When he is on the course, you may see Batman, but we see an OCR Buddy who will keep promoting this sport to all that he meets.

Marcial, of Switzerland represents @ocrne @swissobstaclesportsfederation and is part of @worldobstacle . Marcial is a positive force in the OCR Community in Europe and we are lucky to have him as a Buddy. He has used OCR Buddy and understands how important it can be to finding a schedule between multiple countries. We welcome him to our team.

We are two OCR enthusiasts from Finland, the happiest country in the world! We are also known as OCR Mamas. As middle-aged women we want to promote the sport of OCR for everybody, but especially for more mature women. We love the sport due to its versatile nature and the ideology of "beating obstacles". That's a useful skill both in life and sports! We have done the sport in a more "serious" manner for a couple of years, and are competing in age group -level. Although we take races seriously, we want to bring laughter and positivity to the world by being able to laugh to ourselves and enjoy life to its fullest! Kr Marjo and Nora The OCR Mamas

Michael is the youngest Buddy. He represents @drinkorgain @xfeat @gritarmy and @spartankidsrace . His drive to improve and promote what he loves in second to none. He’s been doing burpees daily for almost 600 days in an attempt to challenge others to gain strength from within. As Michael says, every day is an opportunity to start. We are glad he has chosen to start being Buddy with us.

Mike is a former Navy submarine sailor (retired) who recently fully retired after twenty years as an Army civilian. He was introduced to OCR, by his daughter, in 2015 and has been at it ever since. He has participated mostly in Spartan with a few Rugged Maniac racing with friends and family (including grandchildren). He is looking forward to expanding into other brands over the next few years. At 66 years of age he has no intention of going “…gentle into that good night”. His favorite saying is “It’s better to die on the course than to live on the couch!”

Director and Creator of Lionhearts Fitness, a partner with OCR Buddy. As an Ambassador Lead for Spartan, and ambassador for Savage, Surphyto, Mudgear as well as partnered with many other of the top OCR companies, Shell knew OCR Buddy belonged on the list of the best-of-the-best. Honored to represent OCR Buddy. Mother of seven, including competitive OCR athlete OCR Luccketta.

“Pretty” Mike started OCR a because running was boring, and stayed for the community. As the founder and one of the hosts of Beastnet podcast and a team member of More Heart Than Scars he thrives on the community aspect of OCR racing. He may never be the fastest on course but he will make friends and family in the mud.

Owain, of Wales, is a @spartan Global Ambassador and an OCR coach, personal trainer and nutrition coach. He believes #nobodyisordinary and is also a new dad. He wants everyone to succeed, and isn’t that the goal of the OCR Community? He loves pizza. Just wanted you to know that.

Phillip is a supporter of the OCR Community. He is a supporter of everything he is involved with, and that is a great trait to have. He is constantly promoting those things he believes in from events to his community, his country and (we say this humbly) OCR Buddy. Phillip is proud to race and be part of the OCR Community. We thank him and welcome him to the OCR Buddies.

Raul is one that shows how OCR can change someone. He has recently lost a lot of weight and credits OCR with helping to motivate him to exercise more and to eat better. He also fell in love with trail racing because of OCR. Ask him about how OCR Buddy made his scheduling easy. He has been supporting since Day 1 and that doesn’t go unnoticed. We welcome him to the OCR Buddies.

Robert is a former US Marine, an author, teaches martial arts, an Ambassador for @battlemilesllc and he works hard and plays hard. His work ethic, his training and his desire to be on a course as much as possible is admirable and inspiring. He is a supporter of events of all types and pushes himself to always improve upon himself. He is also willing to say, “How can I help?” and that is a trait of an OCR Buddy Ambassador. Good person. Great Ambassador.

My name is Sam Hall I am an Osteopath with a background in rehabilitation personal training. I started running again after hitting 20 stone (128kg/282lbs) after lockdown which really triggered some old demons for me. I discovered OCR after being challenged to complete a Spartan trifecta weekend by a patient, and although I failed due to injury and underestimating just how challenging it would be I finally felt like I had found something to challenge me and give me my drive to train with purpose again. I completed my first full OCR season in 2023, I chose to run to raise money for MIND and raised £2000, completing 180 miles of races. Every single UK Spartan Race including my first ULTRA totalling three Trifectas and all three Nuclear Races earning my first Muddalion. I want to be a voice for every single person who is NOT a runner, who wants to lose weight running, who has lost their MOJO, who wants to see just how far they can push their body, I want to help people meet some amazing people like I have and become better in themselves. I am a heavy weight, neuro diverse and hypermobile newish runner, lets learn and grow together.

I am Serina aka Mama.man.o.war, Memeber of the UBST since 2023 for Spartan/Tough Mudder. I enjoy walking races, from 5k road to 20 miles trail and OCRs. When not on the course I am volunteering or talking about the joy of the racing family (mainly OCRs). I am a member of Lions Club International as of October 2025. Enjoy arts and crafts, baking and making memories. I was selected 1 of 300 out of 80,000+ people for Project 300 by Spartan.

Stuart is a @spartanraceuk and @soshydration Ambassador. He is a personal trainer through @definitive.fitness. He changed his life to help motivate and train others. His enthusiasm is contagious and he is a Level 2 OCR Coach with @ukosf_ and has been a judge for @worldobstacle virtual events. He only wants to be the best that he can be and that is all we want for him and we hope as an OCR Buddy Ambassador we can help in any way possible.

Susanna races with @thecrewocr and is dedicated to the sport of obstacle racing. In her own words, she promoted to sport to anyone and everyone that will listen. She loves obstacle racing and is not afraid to share that love everywhere she goes. Enthusiasm for this sport does not go unnoticed and we are glad that she wanted to be an OCR Buddy Ambassador.

OCR has become a gateway for me to help others find their empowerment and worth through conquering obstacles in the course and in life over the past 4 years. I go by the nickname “Whittles “ because I am on the shorter side… so I’m whittle! Friendships and comradeship and overcoming obstacles are everything; every race I meet a new longtime friend generally through screaming encouragement to them and watching them wave happily that someone is in their corner, even with initial interaction. I am a part of Empowered OCR and I represent @Prevenix and @vitalapparel.
