🪖 From Camp Taji to a Nationwide Movement
The GWOT 100 (Global War on Terror 100) carries forward the powerful legacy of the Taji 100, a challenge born in 2010 at Camp Taji, Iraq. What started as a morale-boosting fitness challenge among deployed U.S. service members has evolved into a national ritual of movement and meaning. Captain Carole DiPardo first issued the 100-mile February challenge to her fellow soldiers. Army medic Paul Fukuma brought it home, and for 15 years, the Taji 100 inspired thousands to move with purpose.

Now, with the Taji 100 officially retired, Team Red, White & Blue has taken up the torch—launching the GWOT 100 to honor all who served during the Global War on Terror. This isn’t just a rebrand. It’s a recommitment to community, fitness, and remembrance.
