I recently received the ORORO Heated Vest and I am extremely impressed with its performance. The vest not only provides much needed warmth during cold weather, but also does so without feeling bulky or restrictive. The heating elements are distributed in key areas, keeping me warm and comfortable without any hot spots. The battery life is excellent, giving me a full day on low setting and just over a few hours on high setting. I also love how easy it is to control the temperature settings with just a click of a button. Whether I am working on the farm or going to an event, this vest has become an essential part of my wardrobe.
Vest: The vest is made out of a lightweight, but fluffy material that looks good with almost anything. Whether it’s over a sweater or under a jacket, you will hardly notice you are wearing it.
Battery: The battery life is good offering three different modes and I haven’t run out of juice during an event yet. It has a small and portable design that can double as a charging station. The cord is a class C charger that most people already carry in their home. The size makes is in compliance with most sporting events that have restrictions and it is very easy to carry multiple at a time.
Uses: I have found many uses in our every day active lifestyle. This vest is a game changer when warming up in a cold environment due to having no restriction from sleeves or heavier clothing, but still keeping your body warm from the core. The sleek black design pairs well with most clothing options and can also be easily worn over a heavier jacket. I have found this to be very effective in trapping the heat for longer periods.
Washing: Ororo has very easy instructions for washing their heated apparel line. Simply take out the battery and wash on delicate. Afterwards, hang dry is recommend.
Pros: Lightweight, power station, fashionable, wear under or over clothing, long battery life, quality, easy to wash
Cons: Durability of material (but there are stronger options)
Overall: Ororo is my go too heated apparel because their technology doesn’t feel cheap like other brands and whether you are going out for date night or working in the shop, this will be my go too vest.
